Hi my name is Savvas Vassiliades but everyone calls me Savvy. I'm an artist at heart and photography is the artistic space I like to play around in.

I was born and raised in South Africa and relocated to Cyprus shortly after graduating with a B.A. degree from the African Film and Drama Academy (AFDA) in Johannesburg where I studied cinematography, acting and screenwriting. Photography was included in my studies and it did not take long for me to realize that it was a passion I wanted to explore more.

​

​I could never imagine doing anything for a living that I wasn't enthusiastic about, so I established Sav V Photography in 2015.

Since then, many of my photos have been showcased at exhibits around the world, have won awards and have featured in international photography salons.

​

My best shots come from the spur of the moment. I have always had a knack for being in the right place at the right time to capture those perfect moments. I am proud to say that I have the ability to create beautiful snippets of history in honour of those that I've captured in those special moments. 

 

With a click of a button, I can create images of this world using light, colour and space much like a painter would do on a canvas.
